Delete your account & data

The quickest way to close your PrebPay account and delete your data:

• Open the PrebPay app and sign in.
• Go to Profile → Activity.
• Tap Deactivate account and confirm.
• Your account is closed, you are logged out, and your data is scheduled for deletion.

If you cannot access the app, email us from your registered email address, or include your registered mobile number, and we will process the request after verifying that the account is yours:

• Email: support@prebpay.in
• Subject: Account deletion request
• Include your registered mobile number so we can verify ownership.

We verify ownership of the number before deleting, to protect your account from misuse.

Once a deletion request is verified, we delete the personal data linked to your account, including:

• Profile details — name, mobile number and email.
• KYC data — PAN and Aadhaar verification details and any uploaded documents.
• Saved billers, contacts and app preferences.
• Wallet and cashback balances.
• Device and push-notification tokens.

Deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request.

To comply with applicable law and payment-network rules, certain records — such as transaction and payment history — are retained for the minimum period required by regulation (for example, tax, accounting and anti-fraud requirements), after which they are permanently deleted. Retained records are not used for any other purpose. Any pending complaints or disputes are resolved before the account is fully removed.

• Use or withdraw any remaining wallet balance — balances cannot be recovered after deletion.
• Download or note any transaction receipts you may need for your records.
• Deletion is permanent; to use the service again you will need to create a new account.
